Read this before you start
The entire process starts in the user panel. Your account manages plans, subscription details, and client access; the client reads the subscription and establishes the connection. They are separate pages, so do not enter your user-panel password in the client’s subscription URL field. The steps below explain where each piece of information belongs.
Before you begin, have a common browser and the devices you want to connect ready. VPNWJ supports Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, and Linux; this page focuses on the first four. Linux installation, command-line usage, and split-tunneling settings vary more, so consult the beginner-to-advanced handbook after completing the basic workflow. For your first setup, connect one regular device first. Once the subscription updates normally, import it on other devices.
ACCOUNT
Create an account
Open the VPNWJ account creation page. Choose a memorable username that is not reused on other websites, then set a password. Registration requires only a username and password—no email address. Before submitting, check that both entries match. If your browser asks whether to save the credentials, decide based on your device habits whether to store them in a password manager.
After submission succeeds, you will enter the user panel. Confirm that the username shown at the top or in the account area is the one you just created, then continue to plan selection. If the page does not change, read the message beside the input fields. Common causes include an invalid username format or mismatched passwords. Do not submit repeatedly or open multiple account-creation pages.
Your account is the entry point for getting subscriptions and viewing orders. The subscription link is not generated in the registration form, and seeing no available routes immediately after registration is normal. First choose a plan and complete the order.
PLAN
Choose a plan and place your order
On the Plans page in the user panel, first consider how you use the service. Monthly subscriptions reset their data allowance each month on the activation date. Current options are 60GB, 250GB, or 500GB per month, priced at ¥9.9, ¥18, and ¥28 respectively. If your usage is steady and you want a new allowance each month, choose the tier closest to your typical needs.
If your usage is irregular, consider a usage-based data package. These packages never expire. Current options include 300GB for ¥158, 1000GB for ¥358, and 3000GB for ¥658. Monthly subscriptions and data packages are measured differently, so consider how consistently you will use the service rather than comparing data amounts alone. When upgrading a monthly subscription, the price difference is converted based on the remaining days, so confirm your needs before upgrading.
After choosing a plan, open the order confirmation page and check the plan name, data allowance, and amount. Select an available payment method—Alipay, WeChat Pay, or USDT. Once payment is complete, return to the user panel and wait for the order status to update. If the payment page is complete but the panel still shows pending, refresh the order status first to avoid paying for the same order twice. VPNWJ offers a 60-day no-questions-asked refund. SUBSCRIPTION
Get your subscription from the user panel
After the order status is confirmed, open the account overview in the user panel. Find the subscription details or subscription link section, where you can copy the link. After clicking Copy, there is no need to select the entire string manually; paste it directly when you return to the client. The subscription link lets the client read available routes, route names, and future updates. It is not a regular webpage address or your account login address.
Your actual subscription link should only come from your own user panel. This guide does not display a usable subscription address. The string below is for appearance only and cannot establish a connection:

If you suspect someone else has obtained it, return to the user panel, find the subscription management option, and update the link using the method provided there. Keep the user panel accessible after copying; the next step is to paste the link into your client.
CLIENT IMPORT
Import on your preferred platform
First, get the client for your operating system from the client download section of the user panel. This static guide does not provide direct installer links because client access and subscription status are managed through the user panel. After installation, the essential workflow is simple: open subscription management, add a remote subscription, paste the link you copied, and update it. The sections below describe where these options usually appear on each system.
Windows
In the client download section of the user panel, choose the Windows option, install the client, and launch it. On first launch, you will usually find a section such as “Subscriptions,” “Configuration,” or “Profiles” in the sidebar or top menu. Open it, choose Add Subscription or Import from URL, and paste the subscription link copied from the user panel into the address field. You can name it VPNWJ to distinguish it from other configurations later.
After saving, click Update Subscription. When the update finishes, the configuration page should show a route list. If it is still empty, check for spaces before or after the pasted text and copy the link again. Then return to the client home page and select the imported configuration. Some Windows clients also require System Proxy to be enabled; otherwise, browser traffic will not use the current configuration.
macOS
Open the client download section in the user panel and choose the macOS client. When the app starts for the first time, macOS may ask you to confirm its source. Follow the system prompts to authorize it. In the client, look for configuration management, subscription management, or remote configuration in the menu-bar icon or app window, then choose Add via URL.
Paste and save the subscription link, then update it once. After route names appear, choose a route in the same region as the target service and connect. If the system asks to add a network or VPN configuration, check the app name shown by the system and allow it only after confirming it is the client you installed. This authorization is usually needed only once; switching routes later does not require importing the subscription again.
Android
On your Android device, sign in to the user panel and get the corresponding client from the client download section. After installing and opening it, look for the import option in the top-right Add button, the sidebar configuration section, or subscription management. Choose Import from URL or a similarly named option, paste the subscription link, and confirm.
After the update finishes, return to the routes or proxy page, select a route, and turn on the connection switch. Android will display a system-level network connection authorization prompt; after you confirm, a connection indicator will usually appear in the status bar. If the client supports per-app routing, keep the default settings for your first use. Changing exclusion lists too early can make the browser connect while the target app continues using the original network. iOS
First, check the iOS entry in the client download section of the user panel and obtain an available client as directed. Open the client, go to Configuration, Subscription, or Servers, and choose Add Subscription Link. Some clients place this option in the top-right Add menu or call it Import from Clipboard. As long as the source is the personal subscription link you just copied, the result is the same.
Save and update the subscription, then choose the target region from the generated route list and start the connection. iOS will show a system confirmation dialog to add a VPN configuration; system authorization is required to establish the connection. Return to the client afterward and confirm that the connection status has changed. If importing from the clipboard does nothing, paste the link manually into the URL field to prevent the client from reading unrelated clipboard content.
CONNECT
Choose a route and connect
After the subscription updates successfully, the client will list the available routes. Choose based on the target service’s region, not just the route name. For content provided in Japan, choose a Japan route; for AI tools or websites intended for the United States, prioritize a route in the corresponding region. VPNWJ covers 120+ countries with 240+ routes. When the list is long, use the client’s search or regional grouping features.
Turn on the connection switch after selecting a route. Windows clients may also require System Proxy, while macOS, Android, and iOS may hand off to system network authorization. Do not run multiple similar clients at once: they may compete for the same system proxy or network configuration. A client may appear connected while traffic is actually using another configuration.
If the current route will not connect, disconnect first and switch to another route in the same region. Direct, relayed, and IEPL dedicated routes use different path arrangements, but you do not need to adjust protocol settings one by one on your first use. VERIFY
Verify that the connection is working
Once the client shows that you are connected, fully close any target-site tabs or apps that were already open, then reopen them. This reduces interference from old sessions, cached data, and existing connections. Check whether the page loads normally and whether the target service shows the region associated with your selected route. Loading a page only confirms network reachability; the displayed region also depends on your chosen exit region.
If the browser works but a particular app does not load, first check whether the app is excluded by the client’s routing rules. During basic setup, temporarily retest with the client’s default rules. Do not change the protocol, DNS, system proxy, and multiple rule groups at the same time, or it will be difficult to identify the cause. After making changes, disconnect the old connection and reconnect so the new configuration takes effect fully.
After verification, you do not need to import the subscription again each time. For everyday use, open the client, update the subscription, choose a route, and connect. Copy the link again only if the client has not shown new routes for a long time or the user panel says that subscription details have changed. Common first-use questions
What should I do if no routes appear after importing the subscription?
First confirm that the order is active, then return to the user panel and copy the subscription link again. Delete the empty configuration you just created in the client, choose Import from URL again, and update it. Do not use your account login address, plan page address, or the example address in this guide as the subscription link.
The client says it is connected, but webpages will not open. What should I do?
Disconnect other similar clients first, then confirm that the current client has System Proxy enabled or has permission to use the system network configuration. Next, switch to another route in the same region and reconnect. If only one app has a problem, check whether routing rules exclude it.
Why does the target platform still show my original region?
The target platform may retain the session from before you connected. Close the relevant app or browser tabs, confirm that the client is using a route in the target region, and reopen them. If the region is still unchanged, switch to another route in the same region and test again.
Do I need to buy another plan when switching devices?
No. VPNWJ supports unlimited simultaneous devices. Install the appropriate client on your other devices and import your personal subscription link from the user panel. Do not give the subscription link to devices you do not control.
When should I read the complete handbook?
